Stampotique Challenge 255- Polka Dots

Hello all and welcome back to the blog today, thanks for stopping by. Today I want to share with you a bookmark that I made for my daughter Leanne. She went off to college last week and I really miss her. I wanted to make something special for her that she can look at and know that I'm thinking about her.
Over at Stampotique's Designer Challenge we have a Polka Dot challenge going on so I'm entering this.

I used Stampotique stamp - Take Your Time by Daniel Torrente

I laminated it after I made it so that she can use it anywhere and not worry about messing it up or getting something on it.
I also wrote some of my favorite Bible verses on the back for her

I hope you will come on over to Stampotique and join us for this fun challenge. Who doesn't like polka dots?? haha!

Don't forget that we have a brand new ATC swap on our Facebook page this month too. Come on over and join us

Sorry it's been awhile!!! Pocket Letters

Wow, it's been way too long since I've updated my blog. So sorry.... I've had so much on my plate lately and just haven't had enough time in the day.
If you haven't already seen the new release from Stampotique and taken a trip on the blog hop, you have to check it out HERE!
There are some fabulous new stamps and a new designer too!
We have a fun ATC swap going on too at the Facebook page
If you can I would encourage you to join us.

I wanted to show you a pocket letter that I created for a swap with one of the Stampotique design team members.
I love pocket pages but haven't made one just yet. I really don't have a clue what I'm doing haha!
Funny thing is, I ended up making two of the pocket letters haha!
I used loads of new stampotique stamps and also some older ones.

Stampotique stamps I used are:

Medium Bee with Tiny bee - By Jo Capper-Sandon
Bella and Lola by new designer - Tracy Scott
Small Homes Quote - By Janet Klein
Kassa's Bloom - By Karen Hayselden
Phrase Cube and Lightening Bug - By Terri Richardson
Beach Huts - By Kate Crane
Flower CubeAnimal Cube and Agatha Flower - By Magda Polokow
Take your Time - By Daniel Torrente
Whisker Monster - By Kira Nichols
Paisley Background - By Arwen McCullen

Whew!! That's a lot of stamps!!! These pocket letters were a lot of fun to put together and I hope my partner likes them :)

Stampotique Challenge 251 - Black and White Only

I am so glad that you stopped by again today. Thanks for all your support. Today marks another challenge over at Stampotique's Designer Blog and Nellie van Leeuwin is our hostess, she is challenging us to use "Only black and white"
This is always difficult for me because I just love color.

I decided to make a card for someone special
For this I used Stampotique stamps:
Ruff - By Artist Kate Crane

The splatter circle is a die by Seth Apter. So fun!

I am also so happy to announce that the store where I work "Simple Pleasures" is now carrying Stampotique stamps for the first time ever! Yay! and we SHIP!!!
We put them out the other day with loads of fun samples created by the design team and some friends and wonderful teachers.

I sure hope you will join us in this wonderful challenge this week at Stampotque's Blog. We always give away two lucky winners a 30.00 gift certificate.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.

Stampotique Challenge 250 - Butterflies and Flowers

Oh my goodness I can't believe that it's June 22nd already. Time has really flown by this summer. July will be here before we know it. Which brings me to Stampotique's next challenge.
Jackie Payne is our hostess this week and her challenge is "Butterflies and Flowers and all thing Nature"
Here is what Jackie has said about this challenge.

"Now that summer is almost here, it's time to spend some time in the garden and enjoy the nature and flowers. Let's see your best Butterfly, flowers and all things Garden projects"

For my project I went with Butterflies, they are my favorite. I made a journal page
This background was made using a gel print and I love the colors.

I used Stampotique stamps:

Learning to Fly - By Roc Nicholas
Hanging Hearts - By Daniel Torrente
Dragonfly Dreams - By Terri Richardson
Bard - By Amy Wilson-Wellenstein

I hope that you enjoy my creation this week. Come by the Stampotique Designer's blog and join us this week... and remember, Stampotique always gives away two 30.00 gift certificates each month to their online stores to 2 lucky winners who join our challenges!!
